Occupy London to back the counter-olympics event
|
the counterolympics network, which is a coalition of different campaigns and organisations highlighting different kinds of wrongs around the london games 2012 (from leyton marshes to missiles and dodgy corporate sponsors), is organising a demo on the 28th of july. it will be a peaceful, family-friendly event in east london, details yet to be announced. i want to ask the GA to support this event as it could possibly be the widest counter-olympic event this summer, and the issues it tackles are very much occupy as well. |
