Occupy London to back the counter-olympics event
16:12 Wednesday 6th June 2012 by Fanny Malinen

the counterolympics network, which is a coalition of different campaigns and organisations highlighting different kinds of wrongs around the london games 2012 (from leyton marshes to missiles and dodgy corporate sponsors), is organising a demo on the 28th of july. it will be a peaceful, family-friendly event in east london, details yet to be announced. i want to ask the GA to support this event as it could possibly be the widest counter-olympic event this summer, and the issues it tackles are very much occupy as well.

Rescheduling of GAs
23:47 Tuesday 5th June 2012 by Ludovica

Occupy London General Assembly

The Occupy London General Assembly will have the following schedule.

2pm Saturday This GA will be happening every week. Outreach events, teach-outs, outward facing topics will be privileged for this GA. Once a month, preferably the first Saturday of the month, the GA will have the format of the Working Group Assembly.

7pm Tuesday and Friday These GAs will be scheduled only if there are proposals or topics submitted for discussion. Proposals and topics related to Occupy will be privileged for these GAs.

The scheduling of GAs will be decided at the GA planning meetings every Wednesday 7pm. The choice of the day will depend on: - other events planned in that week - availability of proposer - availability of facilitator

Un-scheduled General Assemblies can occur only if they are approved by consensus at a previous General Assembly.

The main location of the GA remains the Steps of St. Pauls. Any location change will be communicated in advance on the website and through the twitter account @occupylondonGA
